Cristian Cantaragiu
A speaker of Romanian and Russian in addition to English, Cristian lives with his wife (and high school sweetheart) Anastasia in Newport. He has always loved working with people, studying tourism and hotel management in his native Moldova. His earlier career took him to diverse locations including Greece and the United Kingdom, but Rhode Island's charm and history won him over for good. After distinguished work in hospitality, mastering business, administration, marketing, team management, customer service, and, importantly, the creation of memorable experiences, Cristian is here to advise you through the real estate process.

Newport residents may recognize him as a former bartender at 41 North, where he expanded his network with valued connections and new lifetime friends. Cristian also won high praise on the local restaurant scene as General Manager of Providence's much-heralded Clementine Cocktail Bar, owned by former U.S. representative David Cicilline. When not working with clients, he savors Newport's gorgeous coast and architecture or learns more about the region's fascinating history. He also earned his sailing license in 2023 and looks forward to many years ahead in the local boating community.
